Roxanne Fay is an actor, a writer, and Producing Artistic Director for Circle In The Water, LLC.
Roxanne was awarded the 2017 Creative Pinellas
Professional Artist Fellowship for her work creating original theatrical productions.
As an actor:
Roxanne has been acclaimed for her work as Prospero in
The Tempest, Paige in HIR (by Taylor Mac), and Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. She has been named Best Actress/Best Of The Bay several times for roles including Dr. Emma Brookner in The Normal Heart, Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret, and for her work in Side Man and The Year Of Magical Thinking.
Roxanne has enjoyed ten years portraying LaBefana in
Disney World’s EPCOT Center’s Holidays Around The World.
As a writer:
Roxanne was named a 2016 Hawthornden Writing Fellow, in residence at Hawthornden Castle in Scotland, and was awarded the 2016 Puffin Foundation grant for her play cycle,
The Human Kind.
Roxanne was the first recipient of the Jeff Norton Dream Grant from Theatre Tampa Bay (2013) to fund the creation of her novel and play, Upon This Rock: The Magdalene Speaks (Amazon.com).
Her collected plays, Home Fires Burning, were chosen to be presented in the 2014 United Solo Festival in New York City.
Her play, Dream Child: The Trial Of Alice In Wonderland, premiered at the Dali Museum (FL) prior to its run at Bridge Street Theatre (NY) in 2016.
